The Microclimate Ministat thermostat is suitable for use with all heat mats, heating them up to 100 watts. This Microclimate thermostat is manufactured in the UK and features the latest in microprocessor control technology for accurate temperature control. The controls are set with a special adjustment tool (supplied) to prevent accidental changes to the settings which can occur with a standard adjustment knob.
This thermostat is suitable for use with all heat mats and will control temperatures from 20 to 35 degrees C. Remember, when using a thermostat with a heat mat, the probe must be either on the mat itself, or in contact with the conductive material (e.g glass) that the mat is attached to. Failure to do this will result in the thermostat being unable to control the mat as heat mats do not raise the air temperature significantly.
