Frozen rats are easy to store, in a separate freezer, and simply need to be thawed and served. Many species will eat frozen rats.
We recommend serving frozen rats using feeding equipment as many reptiles will lunge or strike at their food.
Generally, to work out which size rodent to feed to your snake, choose the widest point of your snake and select a rodent 1 and a half times that size.
