Birds require a ready source of grit at all times. Supa mixed grit is a combination of soluble and insoluble grits together with added charcoal designed to promote palatibility and general well being.

Contains:
– Flint grit – this insoluble mineral is retained in the bird’s crop/gizzard where it acts as a grinding agent to assist digestion of seeds & kernels which are swallowed whole.
– Limestone grn
it & crushed seashells – these soluble components provide the calcium essential in the diet of all birds.
– Charcoal – assists sweetening of the crop by enhancing palatibility.
