Johnston & Jeff Canary Seed Plain

Description

Rather than a cereal seed, canary seed is the produce of annual canary grass. This canary seed is high in oil and can be fed on its own or mixed with other seeds.

The seed itself is soft and easily digestible making it ideally suited for Canaries, Finches and Budgerigars and is the main ingredient for many mixtures for these and also larger Parakeets.

Plain Canary seed is higher in proteins and fats than millet seeds but lower in carbohydrates. It is also rich in dietary fibre and minerals.
