We’re a family run business and we understand that your pets are an extension of your own family, so they’re always welcome in store for a sniff about. As the Managing Director of Rooke’s I’m passionate about making our business an awesome, exciting and safe place to be for both staff and shoppers (particularly those of the fur-kind).
At home I have a Terrier named Harry and a Main Coon/Ragdoll crossbreed named Gizmo – they’re both cool dudes!
My favourite animals are dogs, particularly German/Belgian Shepherds and anything crossed with them. Although if I could be any animal, I’d probably be a domestic cat… I think cats could rule the world one day.
When I’m not at Rooke’s I really enjoy visiting my local pub for a beer or two and catching up with friends over good food.
My dislikes? The BBC, cucumbers, wasps and wind-chimes!

I’m the Store Manager and I’ve been with Rooke’s for 18 years now (in fact I’ve been in the pet industry for all of my working life)!
I love foreign travel and exploring the different countries of the world and, like all of us here at Rooke’s, I’m a big animal lover – my house cat is spoilt rotten!

I’m the Assistant Manager at Rooke’s Pet Products and I’ve been working here for over 10 years.
I’m a family man and a massive Eminem fan. In my free time I love gaming and working out at the gym.
I’ve got 2 cats at home and eventually I would love to add a Rottweiler to the family…the cats will love that!
Jack
I’m the shop floor Supervisor at Rooke’s and have been here since 2017. I love both cats and dogs… how do people choose between the two?! I tend to stay clear of our Reptile aisle though as anything involving frogs or spiders terrifies me!
I’m an avid West Ham fan and a big-time gym goer. I also enjoy a round of golf too (I reckon I’m pretty good – if I do say so myself!).

I’ve been working at Rooke’s for 12 years now and I spend most of my time in store at the tills (so I may be a familiar face to many of you).
On my days off I enjoy getting out and about, in fact finding new places for lunch has become a bit of a hobby of mine.
I love befriending the dogs that come in store and most of them seem to love me too (although that could be because of the tin of treats I have at my till).

I’ve been with Rooke’s for 6 years and counting. Here, I do photography, design and I work amongst the team.
I’ve always grown up around animals – I’m very accustomed to a life with Labradors! Currently, it’s black 2 cats for me at home and, honestly, I might as well have 2 extra shadows, because I’m never alone in a room at home 😁
On my days off, I’ll game, no hesitation. Productivity comes second!
Dislikes? Cities, unpredictability, and hooks.

I’ve been working at Rooke’s Pet Products since 2019 and I’m a big dog lover, in fact one day I hope to rehome one.
One thing you should know about me is that if I’m not watching sport, I’m playing it! I’m a keen gym-goer and footballer, but be warned… I do let Manchester United affect my mood!

I have been with Rooke’s since 2020 – it seemed a great opportunity for me after being around animals my entire life.
Unlike Jack, I love reptiles and amphibians, so if you need any help with these then I’m your guy!
I’m not one to laze about so in my free time I like to keep myself busy around the house by fixing things or building something new.
Chris
I joined the team at Rooke’s Pet Products in 2021. My favourite animals are cats because they’re easy-going and low maintenance… just like me!
My perfect day off would involve a 12 hour gaming spree, copious cups of coffee and being a bit of a slob… oh, some Coldplay in the background too. Honesty is the best policy, right?
Denni
I joined Rooke’s in October 2025, bringing my experience and knowledge of animals with me – that of which is tested (massively!) by my 3 animals at home – Jabber, a Sphynx cat, Xena, a Cane Corso dog and Milo, a Boxer dog.
Amongst looking after and walking my 2 little terrors (and bathing Jabber), I’ll sit down for some PC gaming and see to my bike.
My dislikes? Easy. Tape measures, E.T and toads. No further comments.
