How can you help the Wild Birds this winter?
As we say good bye to the first month of 2014 and prepare ourselves for the cold winter snap, it’s worth giving a thought or two to the wild birds in our gardens.
On a single, cold night a wild bird can lose up to 10% of its body weight just trying to keep warm.
With the shortage of food the winter inevitably brings, we can help them maintain their stamina by feeding them some high energy foods. From peanuts and suet blocks to fat balls good old fashioned seed, giving them access to this food and water makes their survival a little bit easier.
We have some fantastic wild bird offers in store at the moment, so if you like picking up a bargain, then why not take a quick look at our special offers section, where you can find the latest in-store discounts and promotions.
